さんま

今窓の外は雨風が吹き荒れています。それでもまだ台風は上陸していないとか。。。先日の祇園祭の山鉾巡行の日までお天気がもってよかったなあと思います。

昨日は旬より一足先にさんまを頂きました。昨年秋NYにいて食べたかったものの一つだったので、大変満足でした。

さて、ところでこれから少しの間ブログをお休みさせてもらおうと思います。また学校が始まる八月末頃に再開したいと思います。皆様どうぞよい夏をお過ごしください！！

It has been raining all day today, but forecast says the typhoon has not arrived yet.. This heavy rain started right after the climax day of Gion Festival in Kyoto. It was really good that it went well under the fine weather.

I ate Sanma last night. It was a little early for its best season, but it was good. Sanma was one of the food I wanted to eat last fall at NY, so I was really glad that I was able to eat it this year.

By the way, I would like to have a little break to write this blog. I will restart it around the end of August when the school starts again. Have a great summer!!

夏景色

近畿も梅雨明けして数日、益々熱い日々に毎日汗だくです。とはいえ故郷の夏の景色もいいもんだなあと思って見ています。

It has been a few days since the rainy season of Kinki area was over, and it gets hotter and hotter these days. It is not so comfortable to walk outside since I sweat a lot, but I like to see the summer scenery of my neighborhood.

七夕

今日は歯医者さんで３本目の親知らずを抜いてもらって、ちょっとしょぼんとしています。
とはいえ、上手に抜いてもらったのでそんなに痛みはなく、夜には七夕おまんじゅうを食べられました。
もう７月ですね。

Today, I had my wisdom teeth pulled. So, now I have only one wisdom teeth left.. Anyway, I am a little tired with the wound but not so much. I am glad that I was somehow able to eat dinner and desert. It was the day of star festival today.
