Right after the thanksgiving break, christmas trees has been sold on the streets.
In the orchestra rehearsal yesterday, my piece was rehearsed and getting in good shape. At the last rehearsal, I was listening to it from the back of the orchestra, but this time I listened to it from the perspective of the audience, since my teacher came and advised me to do so. By listening to the orchestra, facing them made me a little nervous to worry how to behave as a composer..., but other than that, I was really impressed. I was able to see every performers face and the way of their playing. In addition to that, the balance of the sound was much better there. Unfortunately, there were some mistakes in the score and parts which stopped the rehearsal for a few moment. But in the process of its turning out, I was impressed that the conductor and my teacher noticed it at once by listening to the sound with looking at the score. Although it is because they are professional musicians, still I felt supported by them to feel there are two more people who knows how this piece should sound before the performance.
