今日は母校の大学に恩師を訪ねてきました。写真はグランドごしの夕焼けが素晴らしく紅かったので撮りました。こういう夕焼けのあとの光のことを小焼けというのだと教えてもらいました。
ところで駅から大学に向かう道、学部と院と計６年間も通ったその道を歩きながら、もうここが自分の通学路ではないことは確かだと実感しました。それでも、こういう風に訪ねられる場所があるのは本当にありがたいことです。
ところで最近友達にレッスンをしてもらって英語の発音の練習をしているのですが、今日ピアノを弾いていると少しひらめくところがありました。ピアノを弾く時には、鍵盤を押さえている指から伝わってくる感覚と、出てくる音が自分なりに関連しているなと思いました。耳だけでなく指でも音を聴いているといいますか…。英語も、正しい発音で話したときに口の中でどういうことが起こっているのかという感覚を、何回も練習して「話す」という動作と直結させたいです。

On the way from a station to the school, I realized it is not my school zone anymore, even I still feel it is familier to me since I had walked this street for six years until I finally graduated.
By the way, I am practicing English pronounciation these days, and I found a common point between speaking English and playing the piano today when I was playing the piano. The thing is, it would be useful if I can connect physical sence with the actuall sound which comes out from the action as a result. I will practice to gain the sence.
