今日は人との待ち合わせがあったので、久々に42nd St.の辺りに行ってきました。いつ来ても賑やかなところです。待ち合わせというのは、学校の求人広告に出ていた仕事の面接でした。日本で「面接」というと構える感じですが、実際はスタバで会ってお互いどんな仕事・どんな人であるかを情報交換するような感じでした。もしできればぜひやりたい仕事なのですが、ともかくどうなるかというところです。
I went to around 42nd Street today, since I had an appointment to see someone. I felt I had not came here for a while, anyway it was a busy street as always. The appointment was for a job interview. When I was in Japan, "interview" sounded like very nervous event for me. But this time I was able to relax talking to her as to exchange information each other. This job is so fascinating to me though, see how it goes.
