今日も暑い一日でした。 でも今日は、昨日サンライズマートで買ったカルピスがあったので早速飲んでみると、「夏だなぁ。」と途端に元気になりました。
それにしてもなんで「カルピス」なのに「ＣＡＬＰＩＣＯ」なのかと思ってWikiで調べてみると、
「Calpisが英語: cow piss（カウ ピス=牛の尿）」と聞こえることから、米国ではCALPICO（カルピコ）という名称で販売される。」ということらしいです。いろんなことがありますね。
It was hot today though, I felt refreshed when I drunk "Calpico" which I bought yesterday at "Sun Rise Mart". By the way, I looked Calpico up at Wiki since this drink is called "Calpis" in Japan. Then it says, the company especially changed the name of this product when they sell it in USA, since "Calpis" sounds like something else which is not good as a name of food.. It is kind of interesting.
