今日は本当に気持ちの良いお天気で、友達が連れて行ってくれて初めてリバーサイドパークに行きました。今住んでいるアパートからほんの3ブロックしか離れていないのですが、景色も雰囲気もがらりと変わって驚きました。穏やかで開放的で、そしてとても美しい場所だなーと感激しました。
これが、「ハドソン川の奇跡」で有名なハドソン川です。実際旅客機が着水したのは48ｔｈあたりだそうなのでもう少し南の方ですが、ここに飛行機が降りたのはやっぱり奇跡だなぁと思いながら川面を眺めました。
My friend brought me to the Riverside Park today, since the weather was very nice. It is only 3 blocks away from my apartment though, that was my first time going there. When I get there, I was amazed how the atmosphere changes from my residing area. It was really beautiful and cheerful. I saw Hudson river recalling "Miracle on the Hudson" in 2009. The point where the plane actually landed was around 48th St.,so it is not actually here though, I was impressed to see the river thinking what a miracle it was.
