昨日は蒸し暑い一日でしたが観光にマンハッタンを練り歩き、今日友人たちは帰国しました。ＮＹに来て初めての「お客さん」だったのでちゃんと街を案内できるんだろうかと思っていましたが、私自身も初めて旅行者として来た時の初心にかえりながら観光していると、自分がどれくらいここでの生活に慣れたのかも改めて確かめられました（相変わらず迷います）。
大学時代をもっとも長い時間一緒に過ごした気の置けない友達なので、久々に会って話せたのと自分の今いる場所を見てもらえて嬉しかったです。

It was muggy yesterday though, I and my friends walked around Manhattan for sightseeing for a whole day. They left for Japan this morning. Since this is my first time having guests at NY, I was wondering whether I can guide the city well enough. But by going sightseeing, I could recall the feeling when I first came here for a tourist, and I was also able to make sure that how far I know about this city and living here so far. Since they are the friends whom I spent most of the time together in my college days, I was happy to see them and to be seen where I am now.
